Our Process:
LEGACY FILM METHOD
STEP 1: Private Vision-Alignment Call
We begin with a relaxed, confidential consultation where we’ll listen to what matters most to you—THE WHY—your story, your family, your hopes for the film—and talk through scope, timing, and investment to ensure perfect alignment.
STEP 2: Discovery & Story Design
Next, we'll enjoy a longer, in-person conversation to understand your journey at a deep level. We map your life into a narrative arc, design thoughtful interview questions and, with your direction, plan who else (family, friends, colleagues, and others you've impacted) should appear in the film, as well as discuss other things we'll want to capture (see Step 4).
STEP 3: Filming The Interviews (On Your Schedule, Your Turf)
Our discreet micro-crew comes to you. We handle all the technical details—lighting, audio, scheduling—so you can simply sit and share. Many have described our interviews as surprisingly enjoyable and occasionally even cathartic.
STEP 4: Filming The Landscape Of Your Life
To deliver a truly cinematic Legacy Film experience, we shoot much more than just talking heads. Once story details have been collected in all the interviews we conduct, we'll set about filming the people, places, current events, slice-of-life moments, and visual details that will assist the storytelling with an artistry that tugs at heartstrings and can leave an impact for generations.
STEP 5: Post-Production
Just as Michelangelo painstakingly chipped away at his block of Carrera marble to 'find' David, we really go to work in the edit. This is no race; it's where life, the emotional resonance—the cinema—is breathed into your product.
STEP 6: Satisfaction Review
Because this is your story, it is of paramount importance to us that you're thrilled with the result. We'll share a for-your-eyes-only private cut for your personal review & feedback. This is your opportunity to refine details, clarify facts, and ensure you’re fully comfortable with what will be shared. Then, with your notes, we'll get back to work making your Legacy Film just right.
STEP 7: Heirloom Delivery & Optional Private Premiere Event
We deliver your final Legacy Film in archival formats your family can revisit for generations and, if you like, even help you plan and execute a special first screening experience for family & friends.

Buckley Hubbard is an award-winning professional screenwriter, a passionate, lifelong writer-director-producer, and has, for over 25 years, filled a variety of positions on major motion-pictures and TV series including storyboard artist, actor, and personal driver to A-list talent.
Ever since his father died too young in 2016—with far too little film or video to remember him by—Buckley has had a profound appreciation for the importance of preserving the most powerful remembrances possible of our most cherished and most honored loved ones.

The "Ethical Will Statement"
What It Is & How It Works On Camera
Definition: An ethical will is not a legal document. It’s a values & wisdom legacy—the beliefs, principles, lessons, and hopes someone wants to pass down. In a Legacy Film, an “ethical will segment” is a guided sequence where the subject speaks directly (and intentionally) about those matters.
Think of it as: “Here’s what I learned, what I stand for, and what I hope you carry forward.”
Why It's A Premium Differentiator
Many legacy videos capture events (“I was born here… then I did this…”). The ethical will segment captures meaning—and that’s what families often most wish they had after someone is gone.
